Education:  B.S., 1956 from USC; Law Degree from USD (1964) (Notes Editor, San Diego Law Review; St. Thomas More Scholar; Order of the Coif).  Admitted to California Bar 1965.

Work:  Rubin Seltzer & Solomon (1964); Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek (1970 to present; head’s firm’s Litigation Department).  Emphasis in civil litigation (complex trial practice, family law, insurance law, intellectual property, real property and securities), and has tried in excess of 100 cases. 

Bar/other:  Naval aviator; frequent lecturer for MCLE classes (SDCBA, Rutter, California Continuing Education of the Bar, CABTL); founding director, lecturer for San Diego Inns of Court; member of ABOTA since 1974 (President, 1981); Broderick Award for civility and professionalism (San Diego Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Association, 1991); Fellow, American College of Trial Lawyers; SDCBA Board of Directors (1974-77); Member, Board of Trustees for Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center.
