Summary

This program will provide an update on the Partition of Real Property Act. It will address ambiguous aspects of the act, and practical solutions to solve problems. It will also discuss implications for trust and estate planning, and civil litigation. The presentation will include real-world examples to illustrate how the act is being applied in current cases. Attendees will gain valuable insights to better advise clients and navigate related legal challenges. Elijah Underwood operates California’s Number 1 Partition Law Firm, with experience handling partition trials and complex partition actions including multiple properties, multi-family, industrial, commercial, and million-dollar properties. His firm is currently handling around 200 partition actions throughout California, and he is considered by many to be the foremost expert on partition law in California. Mr. Underwood is a graduate of UC Law SF, and UC Santa Barbara.
