This CLE presentation will discuss the three main stages of a merger, acquisition, or sale transaction and will provide effective strategies for representing buyers and sellers of businesses valued under $50 million. Participants will learn how and when to negotiate key terms, how to manage and defend due diligence, and how to approach drafting and revising purchase agreements. Participants should expect to gain a deeper understanding of the deal process, the main issues facing buyers and sellers, and common strategies for getting deals done.
