Summary

A vibrant and colorful illustration of a group of disabled individuals with various disabilities smiling in community with one another.

As legal professionals, we facilitate justice and need to do so for all individuals in our community. This includes those with disabilities. But how do we ensure that we recognize and uplift that disability is another facet of individuals' identities? This workshop will provide perspectives from many community members on why it is vital to include disability in your DEI work, your career, and your life. This event will offer big ideas for how we can collaborate in this space and knock down our biases to seamlessly integrate disability justice into our work using intersectional principles for diversity, equity and inclusion. We will also provide tips for how you can help ensure that people with disabilities are included as part of the DEI conversation.
