About the Section
The Labor and Employment Law Section serves the needs of labor and employment law professionals in San Diego County. The Section offers educational programs and provides its more than 400 members an opportunity to meet and share ideas informally with employment law practitioners, union and management representatives, government personnel, arbitrators, mediators and academicians. In its educational goals, the section attempts to keep members up to date on current law developments and to demystify many cutting-edge labor and employment issues and while section membership is of obvious value to those who specialize in labor and employment law, membership is also beneficial for general practitioners, business attorneys, corporate counsel, law students interested in employment law and public interest advocates.
